Our ethos as a Salesian College is firmly grounded on the Preventive System of Education which our father Don Bosco has passed on to us. Don Bosco used to say that students are to obey not from fear or compulsion, but from persuasion… in this system all force must be excluded, and in its place, loving-kindness must be the mainspring of action. The behaviour management policy departs from an assumption that good behaviour is to be regarded as the norm. The educative community at Savio College has the responsibility to ensure the values of respect for oneself, for others and the environment permeate in all our actions. This system is fruitful in as much as it makes out of our students good Christians and honest citizens.
