9. Dress code: The winter formal school uniform consists of: a. a white shirt b. the school tie c. a pair of grey trousers d. a grey V-neck cardigan e. a pair of grey or black socks f. green blazer with the school badge on the breast pocket A dark blue, green or black anorak can be worn when it is raining or very cold. The formal summer school uniform consists of: a. a green polo shirt with the badge on the breast pocket b. a pair of grey trousers c. a pair of grey or black socks The sports school uniform consists of a white polo shirt and the official school tracksuit. There is also a marine blue fleecy jersey for winter. There is also a House shirt, whose colour can be red, black, blue or green depending on the House the student is placed in. Desirable behaviour: the school formal uniform or sports tracksuit is to be worn to school as instructed by the SLT. Hair style and length is to be kept in such a style and length as deemed by the SLT to be fitting a secondary school environment. Earrings or body piercings are not permissible. 10.School and home work : If school and home work is done carelessly, handed in late, or not handed in, Achievement Points are to be deducted accordingly. If such behaviour is consistent, parents are to be informed, and if the SLT deems fit, called over for a meeting. Students who show a negative trend will be asked to stay in break, after school or come up to school on a Saturday to do the missing/poor quality work. Desirable behaviour: students are to their utmost to produce good quality school and homework showing care, effort and dedication in content and presentation. All work is to show student name, the date and the title of the work being presented. Home work is to be delivered on time. The Achievement points system is to be used to award points for good practice and negative points deducted for work handed in late, not handed in or of poor quality or presentation. 9
